Ingredients
Scale
For the Crust
- 2 cans (8 oz each) of refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 1/4 cup of unsalted butter (melted)
- 1/4 cup of granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
For the Cheesecake Filling
- 2 packages (8 oz each) of cream cheese (softened)
- 1/2 cup of granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon of pure vanilla extract
- 1 large egg
For the Topping
- 1/4 cup of granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons of unsalted butter (melted)
Instructions
- Prepare the Crust
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish. Unroll one can of crescent dough and press it into the bottom of the dish, pinching the seams together to form a solid layer. - Make the Cheesecake Filling
In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth. Add the egg and mix until fully combined. Spread the cheesecake filling evenly over the crescent dough layer. - Add the Top Layer
Unroll the second can of crescent dough and place it over the cheesecake filling, pressing the seams together to seal. Brush the top with melted butter. - Prepare the Cinnamon-Sugar Topping
In a small bowl, mix the sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle this mixture evenly over the top of the crescent dough. - Bake
Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the cheesecake layer is set. - Cool and Serve
Allow the bars to cool completely before slicing into squares. Serve at room temperature or chilled.
Notes
- Chill for Clean Slices: For neater slices, refrigerate the bars for 1-2 hours before cutting.
- Add a Drizzle: Drizzle with caramel sauce or chocolate syrup for an extra indulgent touch.
- Customize the Topping: Add a pinch of nutmeg or cardamom to the cinnamon-sugar topping for a unique twist.
